The Art Club 2000 Exhibition will take place at the Xewkija Windmill, offering art enthusiasts and visitors a unique chance to experience local creativity within a historic and culturally rich setting.

Join us for a lively and colourful festive march winds through the village streets, led by the spirited melodies of the Ite ad Joseph Qala Band. Local children, dressed in traditional attire, walk proudly at the front, carrying a small statue of the patron saint, their faces lit with joy and reverence. It’s a heartfelt celebration that blends faith, music, and community spirit into a cherished island tradition.

Gozitan artist Mary Portelli showcases no fewer than 45 of her works, several of which depict familiar landmarks in Gozo such as the Gran Castello, Comino Tower, St Anthony’s Battery, Kenuna Tower, Gordan Lighthouse, Sopu Tower, and the Carnival Monument in Nadur. These pieces are made mostly from ceramic tile, which the artist meticulously cuts to emulate the actual buildings. They are set against a variety of tesserae, namely broken crockery, local stone, smalti, shells, mug handles, and other media.

The second acting workshop that encourages creativity and builds confidence. Participants can express themselves through role play. An interactive session where participants can engage and refreshments will be served.

The Gozo Philatelic Society showcase on Level -1 features an exquisite collection of stamps and covers connected with opera, classical music, and renowned musicians from around the world. Visitors can explore rare and beautifully designed philatelic items celebrating legendary composers, iconic operatic performances, and influential musical eras. The exhibit also highlights commemorative issues marking important anniversaries, famous concerts, and historic musical events.
